Telmexa AM
A once-daily, dual-action tablet for high blood pressure. Telmisartan relaxes blood vessels by blocking angiotensin; amlodipine widens them — together giving steady 24-hour control.

Food & drug interactions
What to avoid, what to be careful with, and what helps.
Grapefruit & grapefruit juice
Raises amlodipine levels in the blood, which can cause very low BP, dizziness and ankle swelling. Avoid completely.
High-salt foods
Pickles, papad, chips, processed and packaged foods work against the medicine. Keep sodium under 2 g a day.
Alcohol
Adds to the BP-lowering effect and can cause dizziness or fainting. Best avoided — if you drink, keep it minimal.
Potassium supplements & salt substitutes
Telmisartan can raise potassium. Avoid supplements or "low-sodium" salts unless your doctor advises; your doctor may check potassium levels.
DASH-style diet
Vegetables, fruit, dal, oats, nuts and fish support healthy BP alongside your medicine.
Beetroot & pomegranate
Heart-friendly foods that fit well into a BP-friendly diet.
